Tik Tock

It is 12:30 am and I am still unable to sleep. Class X is very hectic indeed. All my hopes of a lazy blazy year has come crashing down.

Things were okay till the summer vacations but now I am running out of time everytime I try to fit in something new into my mental time table. Firstly my crazy maths teacher is always bickering about my absence in the class during her period. Firstly I got busy with the annual magazine work as this year I am included in the editorial team. Now when that has ended, the rehearsals for the group singing competition has started with the contest only a few days away. Our practice timings are often clashing with maths period and my ever so irritated and never too tired to lecture maths teacher is making the most of the given opportunity by mocking at my eagerness to take part in the many extra-curriculars.

On top of that being a prefect is not really helping. Ofcourse I get the privilege to bunk classes but the frequent meetings and tasks like checking every student from head to toe to find out if they are in proper uniform is tedious. Then to my delight and also regret I was informed two days back that I am selected from my class to represent our school in a prestigious quiz. Then I have got to attend this social event where we are planning to clean a certain area of our town because I am a member of the team and backing out would mean that my counterparts will get ahead of me in the dedication department.

With my fingers in each pie I am finding it very difficult to manage my time now. I don't love my ex anymore instead I think I have started liking my arch rival in school's brother. God how much more worse can my life get?

Tired but nonetheless wishing you a happy day :)

All For Love

I am an extremely emotionally charged girl. I wept every time I saw the Titanic sink. I wept every time Ishaan     Awasthi from Taare Zameen Par sang Meri Ma. I have wept through all the scenes in every movie when the hero or the heroine dies. That is one reason why I prefer watching movies in the theatre. Although the effects are ninety times more affecting, atleast my friends and family can't see me wiping away my tears in the dark hall.

I just finished reading Message In A Bottle by Nicholas Sparks. Does that kind of love even exist? I am flabbergasted. The love letters in this book was a splendid treat for me. The characters are so intense. The story although hard to believe is not unbelievable.

All I can say after reading A Walk To Remember, The Notebook, True Believer and now Message In a Bottle is that Mr.Sparks must be a true romantic. People just can't write such a beautiful, heart touching stories otherwise. As I was skimming through the last letter from Garret to Theresa unknowingly a teardrop plonked on the page. Much as I am forbidden from wasting my time reading love stories I somehow cannot stop myself. I just hope I fall that madly in love with someone when I am old enough and live a happily ever after.

A few drops of tear never hurt when you have the hope that you are going to meet him someday. Till then hoping a wishing for the best

Happy day :)

Sympathy Relationships

I broke up with my boyfriend a few weeks back. Sorry boy, but I have to admit I was never in love with you. I had to say yes after nine proposals. This is something I hate about boys. They can be so persistent at times. In the end the girls just get pressurized into saying yes.
My boy here used to load me with chocolates and gifts everyday. Of course I used to feel guilty at those times but then was it I who was demanding for those gifts? We went out on a couple of dates too. But the worst part was that the guy was too shy. He never held my hand though he always wanted to. But the worst was when he went to the extent of asking me whether he could kiss me or not. I knew right then that things had to come to an end. I have always wanted such things to happen spontaneously. Surely I wasn't going to kill my first kiss this way.
So here is to all the girls who are committed just for the sake of the guy's happiness. Leave Him! Go find your prince charming. :)
Happy day

Know me ;)

Hey Friends!

I am Alisha Sen, a 15 year old. I love reading books with happy endings. I love little black dresses and high heels. I listen to Taylor Swift and I am head over heels in love with Taylor Lautner.

I have been writing blogs for three years now. I have the typical old school Indian parents and a sister who is 14. I love animals, especially dogs.

I love playing spelling B. I have a huge group of friends- Lakshmi, Nisha, Karthik, Siddharth and Arjun. We have been close buddies since two years. Although we have our own share of fights and conflicts we always make sure things are back to normal by the end of the day.

I will be writing more but for now alvida!
